Skilled Independent Visa

This subcategory of GSM VISA is meant for the applicants who want to settle in Australia permanently. In this VISA application, you must score at least 65 in the SkillSelect program to be eligible for this Australian visa subclass 189. You should be 45 years of age and must possess enough skills as required by their profession of choice. The profession which you choose should be mentioned in Australia's SOL (skilled occupation list). Candidates opting for this visa class need not have an Australian sponsor.

Skilled Nominated Visa

This immigration visa subclass 190 is also for applicants who want to settle in Australia permanently. In this GSM VISA candidate is not required to have 65 marks to apply for this VISA. For this VISA class applicant should have sponsorship by a state government or territorial government authority and the applicant should be less than 45 years of age.

Regional Sponsored Visa

This is a provisional visa for a period of two years for immigrants fulfilling the necessary professional pre-requisites for a job but is unable to secure 65 marks in the SkillSelect test. Applicants must be sponsored by an eligible relative residing in Australia or be nominated by the territorial or state government. 45 years is the upper age limit of this class of applicants.

Employer Nomination Scheme

Under this, Australian employees might sponsor skilled professionals to migrate and settle in Australia. Even regional employers are allowed to sponsor skilled personnel for any of their respective regions.

Temporary Business Long Stay Work Visa

This type of GM VISA is issued for a limited time period of 4 years. Applicant applying for this subcategory of GM VISA should be sponsored by an Australian employer.
