The OET (Occupational English Test) is an English language test accepted by healthcare regulatory bodies and employers in Australia, the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, and other countries.
The OET takes approximately 3 hours in total across all four sub-tests: Listening (~45 min), Reading (~60 min), Writing (~45 min), and Speaking (~20 min).
Most healthcare regulatory bodies require a minimum of Grade B in all four sub-tests. Some organisations may accept Grade C+ in certain sub-tests — check with your specific regulatory body.
You can take the OET as many times as needed. There is no limit on attempts, and you can choose to resit individual sub-tests rather than the full exam.
